We have the new Defy v2.2 Beta 6 firmware ready, and we’d love for you to test it.

What’s new from v2.1

Important. In the Defy, Bazecor doesn’t show that the battery is charging when the keyboard is wired. Instead, it shows the sides as “Disconnected”.

You can still check that the keyboard is charging by pressing the battery key on the keyboard.

Known bugs/limitations we’re working on

Here is how to flash it:

VERY IMPORTANT

Please read these instructions carefully.

  1. Download the latest Bazecor at https://dygma.com/bazecor

  2. Download the 2.2 Beta 6 firmware and unzip it.

    If you’re on Windows, make sure you unblock the files before extracting them.

  3. Open Bazecor

  4. Go to the Update Firmware tab

  5. Press the icon “Install a custom firmware”

  6. A menu will pop up: press “select folder”

  7. Select the folder that contains the firmware

  8. Press “Add custom firmware”

  9. Press “Update now” and follow the instructions.

    VERY IMPORTANT

    If the flashing procedure gets stuck in the first step, you can close Bazecor and restart the process.

  10. Your firmware should show that it’s 2.2 Beta 6

If you lose your layers when updating the firmware, you can restore them under Preferences > Backups > Restore last backup
