Hi, everybody!
We have ready the Raise 2 v1.3.0 beta 6 firmware, and we’d love for you to test it.
This new firmware fixes a bug where, when using the keyboard wired, it would accidentally go to Bluetooth pairing mode while booting the computer. To get out of BT pairing mode and go back to wired, you had to press the top left key. This could happen in wired-only keyboards, too, as the Neuron has a Bluetooth antenna.
Now, if both sides of the keyboard are connected to the Neuron, it will never automatically switch to Bluetooth.

💡
VERY IMPORTANT: When using the keyboard wired, make sure the switches underneath each side of the keyboard are turned off. Otherwise, the keyboard will pulse red and not work in wired mode.

What’s new from v1.2
- Fixed a bug where, when using the keyboard wired, it would accidentally go to Bluetooth pairing mode while booting the computer.
- Optimized communication between the sides of the keyboard and the neuron, which should address some of the known bugs mentioned below.
- Improved wake from sleep speed
What’s new from v1.3 beta
- Fixed a bug where the keyboard would not work with some USB hubs
- Fixed a bug where the keyboard would go into True Sleep when the computer went to sleep.
Known bugs/limitations we’re working on
- When you update the firmware, all your Bluetooth connections are reset. To restore them, go to your system settings, click on “forget device,” and then re-pair the keyboard.
- There’s a rare bug where the right side will stop working on Bluetooth. To make it work again, turn the LEFT side off and on again.
- The keyboard might blink very briefly both in use and when resting with the LEDs off. On some rare occasions, the LEDs might come back on.
- There have been some rare instances of the keyboard being stuck on a keypress. Unplugging and replugging the neuron fixes it.
- In wired mode, there’s a small delay on the LEDs when switching layers. One side will be faster than the other side.
- In wired mode, the keys set to black might have a faint red backlight.
- There are still some inconsistencies with the LEDs on the right side when switching Bluetooth devices.
